Waste Collection Service (Garbage)

Even after implementing waste prevention, reduction, and recycling practices, there will still be some solid waste left. Generally, this is where your waste collection service come into play. However, there are some items that cannot be disposed of simply by throwing them in the garbage. Certain wastes amount to too much of a threat - either to waste workers or to the environment - to be disposed of in a landfill. The FAQ section provides a broad outline of what such "hazardous" waste might be.

If you ever have a question about whether something can be disposed of via your waste collection provider, please ask them directly.
