Mission Statement
The Mission of
the Human Resources Department is to provide the employees of Benton County
with the support, education, knowledge and enthusiasm needed to help us all
become a highly diverse and skilled team of employees, ready to provide the
level of service that Benton County residents deserve.
We are
responsive to the changing needs and expectations of the community we serve by
providing exceptional customer service. We value and promote honesty,

Goals, Services, and Priorities

Provide
leadership and guidance in the development, implementation, and administration
of policies and procedures.

Provide
input and solutions to workplace issues, that uphold the values of Benton
County.

Be
responsive to the ever-changing technological capabilities that allow for
modernization and streamlining of County processes.

Attract
qualified applicants, motivate existing employees and inspire long term
commitment by strengthening employer-employee relationships and maintaining a
benefit package that accommodates the changing needs of our employees and their
families.

engaged with employees, including education and training, frequent communication,
and availability,

constant efforts to reach agreement and compromise with labor relations.

and uphold the Civil Service process by encouraging positive and fair
recruitment, testing, and hiring for designated positions.

federal, state, and local laws to ensure Benton County is an Equal Employment
