WE ARE MOVING!! 

By the end of 2019, the Planning Department will have TWO office locations (Kennewick & Prosser) to serve you better!

We will be adding a new location within the Public Services Building at 102206 Wiser Parkway in Kennewick AND we will be moving our current Prosser office into the Benton County Courthouse at 620 Market Street in Prosser. 

We will continue to provide excellent customer service in Prosser and add a new location to better serve the entire county. We do not have dates yet for these moves, but will continue to update the public as we get closer to the move. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask!

The Benton County Hearings Examiner meeting scheduled for September 16, 2019 has been cancelled due to the lack of agenda items.  The next regular Hearings Examiner meeting is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on October 21, 2019 at the Planning Annex Hearing Room, 1002 Dudley Avenue, Prosser WA.

Due to a lack of agenda items, the September 10, 2019 meeting of the Benton County Planning Commission is hereby cancelled; the next meeting will be held on October 8, 2019 at the Planning Annex Public Hearing Room, 1002 Dudley Avenue, Prosser, WA 99350 at 6:00 p.m.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that there has been proposed to the Board of Commissioners of Benton County, Washington, an application (File No. SV 2019-002) by: Nathan Machiela, a request to vacate the 10-foot drainage easement running in a North/South direction through Lot 2 of Country Meadow Heights subdivision in Section 20, Township 8 North, Range 28 East, W.M.  The applicant has proposed to relocate the 10’ drainage easement to a new location further west in Lot 2. The new easement location will run parallel to the southern property line and then move to a north-south direction through the parcel.
