NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that there has been proposed to the Benton County Planning Department, an application (File No. EA 2019-005) received March 14, 2019 for the grading and leveling of the property with approximately 400-500 cubic yards of dirt to be moved onsite and potentially another 100-200 cubic yards hauled in from a nearby job site. The applicant is Calvin Matson. The date of the written determination of completeness on this action is March 15, 2019. The site is located at 375 Rachel Road in Kennewick in Section 02, Township 08 North, Range 28 West, W.M.

CUP 2018-011: The applicant, Tyler Tapani, is requesting to utilize an existing 4200 ft² building at 29911 East Jacobs Road in Benton City as an event facility for weddings, birthdays, dances, etc. The date of the written determination of completeness on this action is March 1, 2019. The 6.01 acres site is located South of I-82 on Jacobs Road in Section 15, Township 9 North, Range 27 East, W.M.

CUP 2019-001: The applicant, Aquilini Red Mountain Vineyards, LP, is requesting permission to construct a new 137,000 SF wine processing facility in an existing abandoned gravel pit. A second phase will include construction of a gravity-flow wine facility and tasting room. The site is located on Red Mountain, near the intersection of SR 224 and Antinori Road in Section 15, Township 09 North, Range 27 East, W.M.

CUP 2019-002: The applicant, Jose Sato, is requesting permission to build a new 2400 ft2 building and utilize 2000 ft2 of it for an auto repair shop at 214210 East Pidcock Road (Parcel# 1-2280-201-2134-002). The date of the written determination of completeness on this action is March 25, 2019. The site is located in Section 22, Township 8 North, Range 30 East, W.M.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of County Commissioners will hold an open record hearing to take public comment on Ordinance Amendment OA 2019-001, Tuesday, April 30, 2019, at 9:00 a.m., in the Commissioners Hearing Room, Third Floor, Courthouse, Prosser.  The Board will consider all comments received, and after consideration they can either approve, deny, or modify the proposed ordinance amendment.   OA 2019-001 is a proposed amendment relating to zoning; amending the section relating to definitions; amending the sections relating to property development standards for vegetative coverage and impervious surfaces; amending the sections relating to uses requiring a conditional use permit; amending the sections relating to wind turbine height restrictions; amending the section relating to solar power generator facility- major and minor; amending Ordinance 611, Section 7 and BCC 11.03.010; amending Ordinance 611, Section 19, amending Ordinance 615, Section 2 and BCC 11.06.080; amending Ordinance 611, Section 37, amending Ordinance 615, Section 3 and BCC 11.09.080; amending Ordinance 611, Section 46, amending Ordinance 615, Section 4 and BCC 11.11.080; amending Ordinance 611, Section 53 and BCC 11.15.060; amending Ordinance 611, Section 55, amending Ordinance 615, Section 5 and BCC 11.15.080; amending Ordinance 611, Section 63 and BCC 11.17.070; amending Ordinance 611, Section 121 and BCC 11.31.060 and amending Ordinance 611, Section 171 and BCC 11.42.100.
